An Average Game of Set

This is a version of the game of Set. It has all the tried and true features of Set, except for playing with other humans.

Modes

Head-to-Head

Compete against exactly one (1) CPU, AI, whatever-you-call-it computer opponent. 4 difficulty options are available, ranging from Easy to Mathematician. Spoiler alert: you probably won't beat the mathematician.

Speedrun

How fast can you form Sets? Test your set-making capabilities by picking a number of sets or decks to complete, then trying to go through as fast as possible. Perhaps you can set a new world record (or more likely, torture yourself with the "5 Decks" category)

Classic

If you want to play alone but don't want to speedrun, you can choose to not have a computer opponent at all. No pressure, just go through a deck of cards at your own pace.

Other Features

Color Schemes

You are able to choose between several color schemes. If the standard red/green/purple cards give you trouble, you can try out a different color scheme. This includes monochrome (a terrible idea).

I originally made this game in July 2023, but I only recently finished the game. In just one afternoon, I was able to add CPU opponents and speedrun records. It took me a while to finally finish this, but I'm glad I did.

Install instructions

Android Users: If you're downloading the APK, be aware that you will need to manually install it. Go to where you downloaded it (Usually Internal Storage/Download in your File manager (should be called "Files" or something like that)), and tap it. If prompted that you can't install from this app, enable the option to do so on the next screen. Then, hit install.

I'm unsure how this might be different with any changes to Android, but this method should work for basically all versions of Android.

Hope you enjoy!
